JOIN US & THE DUNAMIS FOUNDATION TO END SEX TRAFFICKING, ERADICATING IT COUNTRY BY COUNTRY. 

On December 26th - January 6th i’m going with a talented and passionate team: Josh Bachtel, Wesley Cannon, and John Hobbs to Ecuador to spread awareness of sex trafficking and the harm it causes, sharing the story of Dunamis. 

Dunamis is an organization that started in 2010 with the mission of helping under-aged victims of sexual exploitation, abuse and violence. When I was in Ecuador last, one day during ministry, a few friends and I were talking with Borris Salinas, the director of Dunamis about their program.I will never forget how I felt in that moment when I heard for the first time real experiences that these young girls had undergone in their lives. I heard the unfiltered, real, and raw version that you don’t hear often in today’s society. I was disgusted, indignant, downhearted, sick to my stomach. This reality seemed unimaginable, like it couldn’t be real. After I sat on this, I felt a call. Proverbs 31:8 is how I want to submit myself to this call: “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.” I am blessed to have a voice, and I want to use this blessing, this gift for those who currently can’t or those who don’t know the power within their voice. 

There are girls who are currently in the program at Dunamis that have lived in traumatic environments(some for many years), dark rooms, brothels, and abusive homes. They grew up believing that the way they were living was “normal.” Their perception of the world was distorted.  

My dream is to end this. I’m just one person with a passion, a vision, and a will to fight. I want to share with you what I know and continue to do so as I learn more. This is a serious issue. It’s right in our backyard. Not just in Ecuador, but in the States as well.
